I'm the functional nutritionist behind the scenes at Root and Branch Nutrition and the creator of Nourished Roots.

I've been in your shoes. I've tried every diet under the sun. I've struggled with my weight and definitely my body image (even when I was at my "goal" weight). Q: I’m really busy. How much time will I need to devote to this program?

A: It's actually up to you. If you want to do one module weekly (which is how the program is laid out), reserve around 2 hours each week to review the presentations and videos. So that can mean taking 1 hour on 2 days a week or splitting it all up 15-20 minutes a day!

But there's no pressure to complete 1 module a week. You can space things out, take your time, and go at your own pace- just keep in mind that what you put into this program is what you get out of it. Keep in mind that just listening and reading is one piece of the puzzle- you'll also be taking time in your life to make changes and shift behaviors so consider the whole commitment and what works best for you.

Another option is to start with the basic course information first and then come back to the bonuses when you're ready (you’ve got lifetime access to all the content after all).

I really also do want you to consider your priorities and your overall bandwidth. If the course and the work it asks is going to add stress- it may not be the right time and that’s fine! You can revisit this another time!

But if there’s other stuff in your life that you’re not enthused about spending time on, unnecessary commitments draining your cup and holding you back… maybe it’s time to make some changes to make room for what serves you best (and we’ll really get into this in the course, too- it’s not just about nutrition!)

Q: I really want to do this, but the price is a bit high. Do you have any discounts or payment plan options?

A: The cost of this program is an investment and I understand that completely. However I do know its value and am confident in its worth.

This is why I offer more flexible payment option with a 3 month payment plan.

And again, here's a spin on this question, too, because as you’ll learn- I like to challenge the limiting beliefs we have! We tend to say we can’t afford things when we do actually have the money, but are apprehensive to invest in ourselves or don't think deep down it'll be worth it. Maybe we’ve got some wonky money mindset from our upbringing. Maybe we’ve spent lots of money on our health before and didn’t get the results we wanted. Maybe we’re scared we’ll make the investment and fail to do the work. 

Investing in your health is a commitment to yourself. It’s a commitment to your health and your happiness. Please, don’t sell yourself short!

Q: What if I struggle to make the changes recommended each module?

A: While Nourished Roots is laid out in a specific way, with suggestions for action steps to take that build upon each other from module to module, ultimately, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition and health. Everyone is different- starting points, needs, preferences and more will vary from woman to woman. Bioindividuality applies to so many areas and I honor and celebrate that!

I’ve done my best to develop a program that provides lots of info but in a digestible format with powerful but simple-to-implement changes. While you can choose to follow it to a T, it’s okay if you do what works best for you and at the pace you require.

You’ll notice the language I use throughout the program. I’m not about “Do this and do it my way and on my timeline.” I’m more about “Here’s what may be helpful- try it out when it feels right for you and see how your body responds!”

So the course is designed to be 12 weeks long, but at its core, it’s a 12 module program and you have access to the course content forever.

Some women just need to move at a different speed than others. I’ve had women take the course and go through it over 4 or 5 months instead of 3. As you’ll learn about me- I’m all about doing what’s best for you. 

Q: What options do I have if I want to more personalized guidance and support through the program?

A: This self-led program includes the Nourished Roots course only. It is a DIY option where you work through the content and guidance on your own.
